When God was making Fathers
As far as I can see,
He spent a lot of time on one
And saved that one for me.
He made a perfect gentleman
Compassionate and kind,
With more patience and affection
Than you could hope to find.
He gave this special person
A heart of solid gold,
And after God had finished
He must have broken the mould.
