\nA place to be remembered,
\nno matter where we roam.<\/p>\n
\nto bring a child up right,
\nAnd her courage and her cheerfulness
\nto make a dark day bright.<\/p>\n
\nto mend the heart’s deep “hurts,”
\nAnd her skill and her endurance
\nto mend little socks and shirts.<\/p>\n
\nto forgive us when we err,
\nTo sympathize in trouble
\nand bow her head in prayer.<\/p>\n
\nto recognize our needs
\nAnd to give us reassurance
\nby her loving words and deeds.<\/p>\n
\nher confidence and trust
\nTo guide us through the pitfalls
\nof selfishness and lust.<\/p>\n
\nthere could not be another
\nWho could fulfill God’s purpose
\nas completely as a Mother!<\/p>\n
