Springtime in Killarney
\nArrived with arms wide open.
\nEmerald countryside awakened
\nTo sweet lilts of birdsong.<\/p>\n
We strolled through lush green meadows
\nBathed in fresh morning dew
\nAnd plucked dainty shamrocks
\nAmid fragrant ferns and wildflowers.<\/p>\n
Mischievous little leprechauns
\nGrinned their widest elfish grins.
\nOffered shimmering pots of gold
\nFull of enchantment and mystery.<\/p>\n
Father played festive jigs and reels
\nOn his fine fiddle.
\nWe kicked up our heels and frolicked
