A Father’s Day Poem

You never said I’m leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

Dad in a Million

When God was making Fathers
As far as I can see,
He spent a lot of time on one
And saved that one for me.

He made a perfect gentleman
Compassionate and kind,
With more patience and affection
Than you could hope to find.

He gave this special person
A heart of solid gold,
And after God had finished
He must have broken the mould.

Father’s Day

Fathers Day falls on June 16, 2019. Fathers Day gives us an opportunity, at least once a year, to stop, reflect and honor the role of fathers.

Plan ahead, arrange a family get together, plan a day trip to the countryside, a picnic or a meal out at a favorite restaurant. At the very least he will enjoy your company. Need some more ideas? Check out our Fathers Day ideas page.

Why not buy him something that he will enjoy for months to come, something that truly fits his personality. Need some help! Check out our Fathers Day gift ideas. We have plenty of unique Fathers Day gift ideas for every Father there is!

Make this Fathers Day one he’ll remember by making it the ultimate family celebration.

From This Moment On

I hope you laugh more.
I hope you sing at the top of your lungs.
I hope you drive with the windows down
and let the wind rustle through your hair.
I hope you hug. I hope you kiss.
I hope you surround yourself with
people who make you feel alive.
I hope you become the type of person that
brings good energy wherever you go, and
the type of person people want to be around.
I hope you speak what’s on your mind,
that you raise your voice for injustice,
that you tell others that you love them,
instead of waiting until it’s too late.
I hope you live gracefully & shine brighter.
From this moment on.

Life is an Echo

Life is an echo.
What you send out, comes back.
What you sow, you reap.
What you give out, you get.
What you see in others, exists in you.
Do not judge, so you will not be judged.
Radiate love, and love will come back to you.
